2. Wormhole travel across the universe and supergiant black holes are just some of the wonders seen in the film 'Interstellar.'

Wormholes are theoretical tunnels through the fabric of space-time that could potentially allow rapid travel between widely separated points — from …
r/interstellar: Come on TARS!!! If 'they' (advanced future humans) placed the wormhole from future, why didn't they place it near Earth or at-least near the planet Mars? Zack leads the discussion on ancient apocalyptic literature, and why he thinks that the modern end-of-the-world movies are not all that different from the ancient religious texts, and can bring a similar spirit of hope in uncertain times. A theory about the wormhole. They could have thought of saving fuel energy from Earth for a space-ship to travel this much farther. A wormhole is a rip in the fabric of spacetime that warps it in such a way that it proves as a shortcut 'through a higher dimension' to another region in space. They placed the wormhole there so Cooper could get the singularity data and transmit it to his daughter.
Here's how it works. I wanted to chip in my two cents, while also giving some historical and scientific perspective to the ideas. I'm confused. I've been seeing a lot of speculation on the nature of the "fifth dimension" in Interstellar, as well as the paradox of Cooper creating the events that begin the story. A theory about the wormhole. Close. In Interstellar Cooper is always shaking Brand's hand, while in BTTF there's a 1955 without any Marty that leads to Marty's original 1985, then a 1955 with only one Marty that leads to a slightly different 1985, then a 1955 with one more Marty that leads to yet another 1985 (though the second Marty was more successful at preserving the previous course of events). In part 5 of our miniseries on film, we are literally taking you down the wormhole to visit the 2014 scifi masterpiece, Interstellar. Edmunds planet has almost no relevance.
