06-20-2012, 09:04 PM. As Devil’s Path is a “ point-to-point ” trail, you will either need 2 cars for shuttling from one trailhead to another or be dropped off and picked up. Shuttle or taxi for Devil's Pathway? My buddy and I intend to backpack or hike the Devil's Path in the Catskills this October. We have about 6 hours of driving to get to the hike so we'd prefer to take just one car.
But the rewards are commensurate with the effort. If we can get a shuttle, we would day hike it so that we can complete the whole thing in one day.
